Our lab had a wonderful time attending the IASP 2022 World Congress on Pain in Toronto last week. Dr. Colloca presented on both the Nocebo Effect on Pain and the Mechanisms of the Placebo Effect. Our team presented on Immersive Virtual Reality for Chronic Pain, Influence of Socioeconomic Distress on Placebo Hypoalgesia, and TMD Disorders among various other subjects. It was a pleasure to meet other passionate individuals and we look forward to future collaborations. The city of Toronto was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed the food!
